Alert over mobile phone 'chicken'

The A9 Police have issued a warning after children were seen playing "chicken" with traffic on a busy main road and filming themselves on mobile phones.

A group of youths was seen running on both carriageways of the A9 near Dunblane at about 1600 on Sunday.

Central Scotland Police has urged parents to keep a close eye on their children and ensure they were not placing themselves in danger.

Officers are also trying to identify the youngsters seen on Sunday.
