A 26-year-old woman was attacked near Welldale Street in Dumfries at about 0300 BST on 21 June.

The man was described as about 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, of slim build with dark hair, dark eyes and a pale complexion.

He was wearing a white shirt with light vertical stripes which was tucked into a pair of baggy blue jeans.
