An Edinburgh biker has become the first person to lose his licence after a police speeding crackdown on the A702 in the Scottish Borders.
Justin McCadden, 42, of Downfield Place, reached 106mph on his Honda bike near Dolphinton in August.
Police recorded about a dozen motorists at more than 100mph during a month-long operation on the road.
McCadden pleaded with Peebles Sheriff Court to retain his licence but he was banned for six months and fined £565.
A 22-year-old man from Kirkton in Dumfries and Galloway also faces a ban after he was caught at 103mph.
Steven Bisset admitted the offence but sentencing was deferred until 5 November for his personal appearance.
Two other speeding drivers will also be sentenced next month after being caught on the A702.
James O'Brien, 19, of Tring in Hertfordshire, reached 118mph on the Dolphinton straight on 3 August.
James McLaughlan, 32, from Biggar, was caught two days earlier at 103mph.
Both have been ordered to make personal appearances for sentence.
A Whitehaven man allegedly clocked at 122mph on the same stretch of road on 23 August has pled not guilty.
Peter Darcy will stand trial next year.
Finally, James McNabb, 42, from Edinburgh, will face a charge of reaching 104mph when he appears at court on 5 November.
