Postal raiders escape with cash

Two men have made off with cash and other items in an early morning break-in at a village post office.

The pair struck at the site in West Linton in the Scottish Borders shortly after 0500 BST.

They were seen leaving the scene on foot shortly after the building's alarm was activated.

It was later discovered that money and other goods had been taken in the raid. Police have asked anyone with any information to contact them.
