A nuclear worker has produced a short film featuring the demolition of a power plant in southern Scotland.
The DVD - entitled Blowdown - contains footage of the Chapelcross cooling towers being removed from the Dumfries and Galloway skyline last year.
Free copies will be given to everyone currently working on decommissioning the south west Scotland site.
The film, produced by design officer Keith Grierson, will also be given to all schools across the region.
Copies of the film will also be provided to the local museum in Annan in order to raise funds.
'Scenic views'
Mr Grierson said he wanted his version to take a different view from an official DVD which has also been produced.
"In the four weeks leading up to the demolition I toured the surrounding area, from Carrutherstown to Bowness on Solway, shooting a series of scenic views featuring the cooling towers in the local landscape," he said.
"One of my favourite shots in my video is the one where the Isle of Man can be seen between Cooling Towers 1 and 2.
"I was very lucky that it was a very clear evening as the island is more than 70 miles away and is seldom seen from the site."
