Seven in hospital after car crash

Four children and three adults have been taken to hospital after a crash in Aberdeenshire.

The two-vehicle crash happened on the the A937 Laurencekirk to Montrose road at its junction with the road leading to St Cyrus.

The Scottish Ambulance Service took the injured to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Their injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

Grampian Police said the blocked road had later reopened.
