More than 3,500 people have now signed a petition against plans to build a major wind farm on Shetland, a campaign group has said.
The Viking Energy project for 150 turbines is a joint venture between Scottish and Southern Energy and the island community.
It is estimated it could generate £37m a year for the community and create hundreds of jobs.
Campaign group Sustainable Shetland said the protests could not be ignored.
Local MP Alistair Carmichael and MSP Tavish Scott recently said more time was needed for consultation.
