Missing dog plea after accident

Jodie

A plea has been made over a pet dog which went missing from a car involved in a crash in Aberdeenshire.

Three people were left requiring treatment following the two-car crash on the A96 near Keith on Monday.

Police said Jodie, a black lab cross with a white mark on her chest, ran from the car into neighbouring fields.

It is not thought Jodie was injured but her owners said she could be very scared. Residents in the area have been asked to keep a look out.

The casualties were taken to hospital and the road was closed for several hours during Monday evening.

Their conditions were not life-threatening.
