An explosion at a gas terminal which sparked a major emergency services operation was caused by a leaking gas sample and a fridge.
The incident happened at the St Fergus gas terminal near Peterhead in Aberdeenshire on Tuesday.
Three people working nearby did not require hospital treatment.
Operators Total said gas leaked from a cylinder and ignited as a fridge cut in, causing a spark. The explosion blew out a window in the laboratory.
Total said it had been a "minor" explosion.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed.
