Six face Elgin drug dealing trial

Five men and a woman have gone on trial accused of dealing various drugs in Elgin, Moray.

William Kelbie, 41, Owen Gorman, 39, Donald Stewart, 36, James Stewart, 33, and Stephen Johnston, 36, deny being involved in the supply of drugs.

Toni MacKenzie, 21, denies being concerned in the supply of amphetamine and cocaine.

The trial began at the High Court in Glasgow before the case was adjourned until Thursday.

The five men deny being involved in the supply of cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis resin and amphetamine from 2002 to 2008.

Mr Kelbie, and Donald and James Stewart also deny being involved in the supply of heroin between 2001 and 2003.

Both Mr Stewarts are also accused of being concerned in the supply of cannabis resin, amphetamine and ecstasy 1997 and 2002.
