Missing man found following plea

Gordon Andrew

A man thought to be suffering from depression who went missing in Aberdeenshire has been found following an appeal.

Gordon Andrew, 36, had been reported missing from Kintore.

He had last been seen in the Elrick Hill area at Bucksburn, Aberdeen, at about 2000 BST on Wednesday, sparking an anxious police appeal.

A Grampian Police spokesman said: "Gordon Andrew has been traced in Inverurie."
