A teacher who suffered serious injuries in a trampoline accident has spoken for the first time of his hope of one day getting back on his feet.
David Henderson, 34, was badly hurt at the Gordon Schools in Huntly last year.
Pupils received counselling after he suffered neck and back injuries during trampoline activities.
Now back home, and unable to move from the shoulders down, he told BBC Scotland: "I think there will be a way to get me back on my feet again."
Married father-of four Mr Henderson said: "I was just showing some manoeuvres and I over rotated, landed on my shoulders. I rolled off, I couldn't feel my legs at all."
He received seven months of treatment in hospital before returning home to Kennethmont.
Mr Henderson said he hoped new technology, his faith and continued family support would assist his progress.
