Two lifeboats have joined police and coastguards in Shetland in the search for an elderly man who has gone missing on the island of Yell.

Magnus Hughson was last seen at his house at Setter on the west side of the island on Tuesday night.

Northern Constabulary said the 79-year-old may be extremely disorientated and confused.

They have appealed to members of the public in Yell to search any outbuildings.
