A man and woman have been taken to hospital after being trapped in a van crash in Aberdeen.
The one-vehicle accident happened in Clifton Road at about 0700 BST when the van hit a wall near the Granite City Bakery.
The male driver, 28, and female passenger, 24, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Grampian Police, who have appealed for witnesses, said the road was closed for more than four hours.
Audrey Webster, who was working in the bakers, raised the alarm.
She told BBC Scotland: "I heard one big bang, I ran through and saw it [the accident] and phoned 999 to get them here as quickly as possible.
"I am lucky it never came through the window.
"I saw the driver with blood on the face, they were trapped, and they were cut out. It's a straight road so I do not understand why it happened."
