Indecent assault by man 'in 70s'

Police are hunting a man in his 70s who indecently assaulted a woman in Aberdeen while walking his dog.

The victim, aged 30, was targeted on the west bank of the River Dee at Riverside Drive in the Bridge of Dee area on Wednesday afternoon.

The man was aged between 70 and 75, 5ft 6in tall, and slim.

Grampian Police said he was wearing an olive waist-length jacket, brown flat cap and was walking a black Scottish Terrier dog.

Pc Colin Smith said: "In broad daylight, with any number of other walkers and motorists nearby it is likely that the person responsible will have been seen by others."
