Gorillas have been turning heads as they made an unusual sight wandering through Aberdeen.
A group of students donned the costumes in a bid to promote art to the general public.
The live street event was organised Robert Gordon University (RGU) sculpture students on Tuesday.
Calling themselves Fourteen, the group's aim was to combine "experimentation with critical dialogue".
Student Alice Spicer said: "Our aim is to build a better relationship between the art world and the people of our city, whilst also highlighting the ever-evolving nature of contemporary sculpture.
"Using the city of Aberdeen as our stage, we are, dressed as gorillas, exploring Aberdeen's public sculpture in an attempt to inspire interest and create dialogue."
