Female driver 'put child at risk'

Aberdeen Sheriff Court [Pic: Crown Copyright] A woman has admitted putting a child passenger in danger after crashing a car in Aberdeen while under the influence of drink or drugs.

Karen Minty, 34, had a young girl in her car when she crashed into another car in Union Street last November.

Minty, of Macduff, admitted careless driving, driving under the influence of drink or drugs, exposing a child to risk and possessing cocaine.

Sentence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court was deferred for reports.

Minty was disqualified from driving in the interim.
