Kinloss rescue team's 'busy year'

RAF Kinloss RAF Kinloss Mountain Rescue Team has had one of its busiest years for call-outs in the last 10 years.

The team was called out 39 times last year - up from 24 in 2006.

So far 2008 has already proved busy for what the RAF said was a "greatly experienced and highly professional" team, with nine call-outs.

The team at Kinloss is made up of eight permanent members and up to 28 volunteers who are normally employed in various sections.
