Police have expressed dismay after 142 motorists were caught breaking speed limits on Grampian's roads.
Four drivers were recorded driving at more than 100mph in a 70mph limit on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road at Tipperty at the weekend.
Thirteen people were detected drink-driving, 42 people were found not wearing a seatbelt and 16 drivers were caught using their mobile phones.
A Grampian Police spokesman said the figures were "disturbing".
Sgt David Pirie, of the roads policing department, said: "It is almost unbelievable that another weekend has passed where a considerable number of motorists have been detected for an array of motoring offences, a number of which are very serious.
"These disturbing figures are all the more concerning as many of these offences have been detected on roads which have been identified as having a significant collision history.
"I am very concerned that despite our positive road safety messages and high visibility patrols throughout the region, a minority of selfish individuals still consider it acceptable to drive at dangerously high speeds or whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs."
