Fire-raiser attacks Elgin church

Police are investigating a wilful fire-raising attack at Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Place, Elgin.

Grampian Police have appealed for information about the incident which occurred between 0900 GMT and 1100 GMT on Monday.

Someone entered the church between these times and set light to some property within the building.

The emergency services were alerted but the fire was extinguished immediately by members of the church.
