Rescuers find stranded climbers

Two climbers stranded overnight in the Cairngorms in freezing weather have been found safe and well after rescuers spotted their torches flashing.

The men were reported overdue on Sunday night and their car was located at the Glen More forest lodge car park.

Rescuers on a helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth used night vision equipment to scour the surrounding hillsides and picked up the men at about 0630 GMT.

The helicopter had been searching the area since about 0400 GMT.
