Cyclist sought after house fire

A late-night fire which led to two women being rescued from their Inverness home by neighbours is being treated as suspicious by police.

Officers have been trying to trace a man in dark clothing who was seen riding a bicycle near the scene of Saturday's incident in Hawthorn Drive.

The women, aged 17 and 42, were treated by an ambulance crew for smoke inhalation.

The fire was quickly extinguished, but caused substantial damage to the house.
