Festivals carry off top UK awards
A Highlands music festival has won an honour at the UK Festival Awards.
Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival held near Inverness took the Grass Roots Festival Award. The weekend event is held in August.
This summer's event featured performances by Scouting for Girls, Idlewild, The Waterboys, Sons and Daughters and The Lemonheads.
T in the Park, held in Kinross-shire, won the UK Festival Awards' prize for best line-up.
