Fires damage two cars and house

Police have appealed for information after two cars were destroyed when they were set on fire in Ardersier, near Inverness.

The fires were thought to have been started between 2000 BST and 2030 BST on Sunday.

Witnesses are also being sought following a suspicious fire at a house in Girnigoe Street, Wick, on Sunday.

Police said the property was extensively damaged after a fire broke out between 0100 BST and 0210 BST.
