Police probe city car boot sales
The running of charity car boot sales held at Highland Council's headquarters in Inverness are being investigated by Northern Constabulary.
The local authority has suspended the Sunday sales at Glenurquhart Road until the outcome of the probe.
It has withdrawn permission for its car park to used for car boot sales.
The council said: "No further car boot sales will be held at the council car park until the investigation is completed."
