Three vehicle crash victim named

A man who was killed in a crash involving two lorries and a goods van on the A9 in the Highlands on Thursday has been named by police.

Alexander Warden, 64, was from Arbroath, Angus.

Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service was called to free casualties from the wreckage at the crash scene, south of Aviemore.

The section of road was closed in both directions for about 14 hours after the accident.
