A Moray company has won the textile brand category prize at the Scottish Fashion Awards.

Johnstons of Elgin won the honour at the ceremony in Stirling Castle.

Also in the running was Lewis-born Sandra Murray, who lives in Inverness. She was the only individual in the section and was up against companies.

Ms Murray made a thistle-coloured outfit for the Queen for the official opening of the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh in 1999.
