A memorial fund set up in honour of a Scottish cycling champion has raised about £8,000 within 24 hours.
Jason MacIntyre, 34, died while being taken to hospital after a crash near Carrs Corner, Fort William, on Tuesday.
Donations have come from across the world for the fund, which aims to aid in the care of his daughter Morgan, who has a serious kidney condition.
The appeal was launched on a website run by the Braveheart Cycling Fund, which helps young cyclists.
Full-time carer
Mr MacIntyre, from Fort William, had twin daughters - eight-year-olds Morgan and Chloe - with his wife Caroline.
The memorial fund hopes to raise £20,000, which would help to fund a carer for Morgan for two years.
Mr MacIntyre was her full-time carer.
His death came a day after he had been given funding to train for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
The cyclist had also been hoping to make the British Olympic team.
