Arrests after YouTube 'assault'

A 14-year-old girl and a woman aged 37 have been arrested following an alleged assault which was filmed and posted on YouTube.

Police said the incident happened in Motehill Road in Paisley on 1 July.

Officers from the Strathclyde Police Gangs Task Force made the arrests on Wednesday evening.

They followed an intelligence-led operation in the Gallowhill area of the town. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
