Two arrested over city drug farm

Two men have been arrested after police officers found 468 cannabis plants being cultivated in a flat in the west end of Glasgow.

Officers raided the property in Shuna Place in Maryhill on Friday where they also found drugs, believed to be cocaine, worth about £17,000.

The plants have an estimated street value of £140,000.

Strathclyde Police said the two men were aged 20 and 28 and were expected to appear in court on Monday.
