Two men arrested over drugs haul

Police have seized drugs valued at £175,000 after officers stopped a car on the M74 near Larkhall and searched two houses in Glasgow.

A 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were arrested in connection with the recovery.

Drugs, believed to ecstasy, were found after police stopped the car at about 1120 GMT on Wednesday.

Further quantities of cocaine and ecstasy were recovered at properties in Barlanark and Baillieston.
