A crane in Clydebank, a cancer centre in Kirkcaldy and a school in Glasgow for sensory impaired children have won a top international architecture award.
The A-listed Titan crane, which was opened as a visitor attraction in 2007, was one of 114 international projects to win a 2008 Chicago Athenaeum award.
The other Scottish designs honoured were the Maggie's Centre in Kirkcaldy and Hazelwood School in Glasgow.
Winning designs were selected from 38 different countries.
The Titan crane at Clydebank is believed to be the oldest of its kind in the world.
One of five Titan cranes designed by William Arrol for Clyde yards, it survived the Clydebank blitz unscathed despite being a target for German bombers.
The structure was used at the John Brown shipyard, where it helped with the construction of warships and vessels like the Lusitania and the QE2.

During the work, a lift was installed to take visitors to the jib platform and wheelhouse some 150ft above the ground.
Eleanor McAllister, of Clydebank Re-built, which commissioned the restoration, said the award was "international recognition for Clydebank".
"Getting this award is particularly gratifying because it recognises the design achievement in creating the lift access to the crane with such a light and graceful touch," she said.
"The whole design approach respects and protects this great historic structure, but goes further, it actually enhances its majesty."
Hazelwood School in Glasgow was designed by Murray Dunlop Architects and opened in August 2007.
It is a purpose built facility for children with sensory and dual sensory impairment and can take up to 60 pupils supported by 50 staff.
Maggie's Centre at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and opened in November 2006.
It offers support to people recently diagnosed with cancer, or those who have been living with cancer for years or have a friend or relative who has cancer.
