Thousands party at music festival
Music fans have been partying at a Scottish castle at the start of the three-day Hydro Connect festival.
About 15,000 revellers made their way to Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll, on Friday.
The festival, now in its second year, is featuring Franz Ferdinand, Welsh rockers The Manic Street Preachers and US experimental group Mercury Rev.
Paolo Nutini, Spirtualized, The Gossip and Icelandic band Sigur Ros are also performing at the event.
The organisers have said that anyone hoping to escape the mud of the campsite, just yards from the Duke of Argyll's home, can unwind at a spa offering massage and beauty treatments on site.
