A Slovak man is to be extradited to Scotland in connection with the death of Moira Jones in Glasgow.
A statement from the Slovak authorities said a regional prosecutor had ruled the man would be transferred to Scotland in the next 10 days.
Slovak police detained the 32-year-old suspect on an international arrest warrant three weeks ago.
The body of Ms Jones, a 40-year-old sales consultant, was found in Queen's Park in Glasgow's south side on 29 May.
Police said Ms Jones, who was originally from Staffordshire, had been subjected to a "brutal attack" and had also been sexually assaulted.
The discovery of her body sparked a massive murder inquiry.
Queen's Park was cordoned off to allow a thorough forensic search and re-opened more than two weeks later on 12 June.
Police spoke to more than 1,200 people and took DNA samples from 250 as part of their investigation.
