Missing woman found safe and well

A woman who was missing from her home in Ayrshire for five days has been traced by police.

Fiona Irving, 39, of Mossgiel Avenue, Troon, had not been seen since 8 May and her disappearance was described as "totally out of character".

On Tuesday police appealed for information regarding Ms Irving's whereabouts and said her two daughters, aged 11 and 14, were "extremely upset". But they later confirmed that she had been found and was "safe and well".
