Arrests made over McQueen murder

Three men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 37-year-old man in South Lanarkshire, police have confirmed.

Brian McQueen was found with serious injuries on Hardie Street in Blantyre on Wednesday, 13 February.

He died in East Kilbride's Hairmyres hospital the following day.

The three men detained, aged 21, 26 and 33, are expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday. A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
