Teenager raped in flat after rave

A 17-year-old girl was raped in a flat in Glasgow after a man offered to give her a lift home from a rave.

Police said the teenager accepted the lift at about 0100 GMT on Sunday after she lost her friends at the Fantazia Rave at Braehead Arena.

She was taken to a first floor flat in Maryhill in a five-door silver Corsa car and raped by a man in his late 20s.

After the attack, another man drove the girl home to Bishopbriggs in a small black car.

Det Sgt Jim Connelly said he was particularly anxious to speak to the man who took the girl home.
