Bashir Ahmad Scotland's first Asian MSP has said he is "very proud" to represent the people of Glasgow at Holyrood.

Bashir Ahmad is one of four Scottish National Party MSPs on the Scottish Parliament's regional list for Glasgow.

He said that a school for the children of Muslim parents in Scotland was one of his main goals.
