BBC Scotland backs 2014 Games bid
Glasgow's bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games has been given the backing of BBC Scotland.
The deal will see the broadcaster produce promotional films used in presentations before the decision is made in November.
Controller Ken MacQuarrie said new technology would be used to show the attractions of Glasgow and Scotland to the international community.
Glasgow faces competition from Abuja, Nigeria and Halifax in Canada.
