A campaign to restore pies to the menu at a traditional Glasgow pub has proved successful.
As first revealed on BBC Scotland's news website, The Horse Shoe introduced a new menu which ended the traditional pie and pint union.
Punters launched an online campaign which registered almost 3,000 votes and convinced bar owners Mitchells and Butlers to reinstate the pies.
Campaigners thanked the firm for their wisdom and courage.
Pies will return to The Horse Shoe in Drury Street on Monday.
A spokesman for the company said: "Mitchells and Butlers has introduced a new enhanced menu at the Horseshoe Bar with the aim of attracting new customers whilst also appealing to regular customers.
"However, we have taken on board the comments from a number of our customers requesting us to reintroduce the Scotch pie and this we will do as an addition to our menu from Monday 15 January.
"We are delighted about how much support there is for The Horse Shoe Bar.
