Gunmen attack car in murder bid

Two men were fired upon when a car crashed into the back of their vehicle.

Detectives said the shooting happened at about 2255 GMT on Sunday, in Germiston, Glasgow.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, were driving their Ford Focus car on Darnick Street when it was hit by a Mazda car. Shots were then fired from the Mazda.

The car was abandoned and the gunmen ran off. Police, who are treating the incident as attempted murder, said the victims were unhurt but shaken.
