The funeral of a firefighter who died while on duty in Edinburgh is to be held at St Giles Cathedral.
The funeral for Ewan Williamson will be preceeded by a procession through the streets on Wednesday from Tollcross to reach the High Street at 1400 BST.
There will be a private funeral before the procession for family and friends. A lone fire engine is to carry the 35-year-old's coffin to the funeral.
He died in the early hours of Sunday in in the Balmoral pub fire in Dalry Road.
It is understood police officers will not be able to start their investigation at the fire site until Saturday when the building has been made safe.
The gathering will come little more than a week after Mr Williamson died helping to tackle an Edinburgh fire.
He helped to save 20 people including a baby from the fire in flats above the Balmoral pub.
About 70 firefighters and 16 appliances were sent to the bar in the west end of the capital.
Another fireman was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with smoke inhalation, and was released after treatment.
