A live mine which was caught in a fishing net off the East Lothian coast has been blown up by explosive experts.
The explosion was carried out on Tuesday afternoon on an eight-foot long live mine which was trawled up just off Port Seton, near Edinburgh.
The mine was believed to date back to World War II.
Forth Coastguard said an ordinance disposal team from Faslane blew the mine up after it was found in fishing nets on Monday.
