Main flooded roads have reopened
Two main roads in Midlothian that were closed after they were flooded by a burst water pipe have been reopened.
The A703 was opened late on Wednesday and the A702 between Silverburn and Hillend was reopened at 0340 GMT on Thursday.
Old Pentland Road remains closed for an investigation of flood conditions.
It follows complaints from commuters who said they spent up to two hours in traffic jams in the area following the flooding which happened on Tuesday.
Craig Lawson, Scottish Water regional manager, said: "Scottish Water would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any disruption this may have caused."
