Man dies in motorcycle accident

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road collision on the A90 near Dalmeny.

A 38-year-old man died after losing control of his Harley Davidson bike on a bend near the M9 underpass at 0830 BST on Sunday.

The road was closed for several hours while an investigation into the crash was carried out.

A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman urged anyone who saw the accident to contact the force.
