Pictures sent in by John Wilson

Five people were injured after high winds blew over stalls at an Italian market in Edinburgh.

The incident happened at about 1300 BST on Saturday.

A Lothian and Borders Fire service spokesman said the gusts toppled six gazebos - each one almost 25 sq m - at the market in Castle Street.

After being freed by nearby workers and passers-by, a woman was taken to hospital with a broken leg. Four other people were treated at the scene.
