Stone throwing vandals who targeted moving vehicles in West Fife are being sought by police.
On Sunday, a bus had its offside window smashed by a stone thrown at it from a moving vehicle on the A907 between Carnock and Gowkhall at 2220 GMT.
On Thursday, a stone smashed the windscreen of a lorry on the A985 Rosyth to Kincardine Road near the Waggon Road turn-off.
Nobody was hurt during the incidents and police have been seeking witnesses.
Inspector Fraser Downie, of Fife Constabulary, said: "I scarcely need to stress how idiotic this practice is.
'Well-documented'
"Fortunately, both of these large vehicles were able to stop and nobody was hurt, this time.
"But there are well-documented cases of drivers having died, or their vehicles causing serious collisions, after missiles were thrown through windows.
"We urge anyone who knows the people doing this to contact us as soon as possible."
Insp Fraser issued a further appeal to those throwing the stones.
He said: "We also urge the people who think this is a good way to spend their time to think again before they have to deal with very serious consequences."
