Singer KT Tunstall has called on the Scottish Government to help ensure homelessness is eradicated in Scotland by 2012.
Tunstall, brought up in St Andrews, has joined a "Hometime" campaign launched by charity Shelter Scotland which wants to ensure homeless targets are met.
The campaign asks people to name which song reminds them of home.
Shelter Scotland aims to hand a list of songs over to politicians later this month.
KT Tunstall has chosen Getting Some Fun Out of Life by Billie Holiday.
She said: "I love putting it on my old record player. It's the sound of a warm kitchen with a pot on the stove, a bottle of red wine open, and a dance with a good man."
Edinburgh band Dirty Modern Hero have also been recruited to the campaign.
They said: "It is clear that the more people who are made aware of this campaign and the current Scottish Government promise, the more power we will have as a nation to ensure that this promise is met and that in only four years time we may have dramatically improved the lives of so many people currently homeless in Scotland."
'Cannot fail'
They join indie-pop sensations The Wombats, DJ Calvin Harris, rock band Idlewild, Glasgow group The Haze and Scottish pop legend Dougie MacLean, who are among those to have already signed up to the campaign.
Graeme Brown, director of Shelter Scotland, urged people to support the campaign.
He said: "We have an internationally acclaimed homelessness target to meet in 2012 and we cannot afford to fail.
"The eyes of many nations will be on this island that year, and not just because of the Olympics.
"Many nations have already shown an interest in our forward-thinking legislation and we must show it can work."
He added that the most chosen song so far was a tie between Dougie MacLean's Caledonia and 500 miles by The Proclaimers.
