Boxer's bail relaxed for holiday

Former world boxing champion Scott Harrison is to have his bail curfew removed for two weeks to go on holiday.

The 30-year-old had been ordered to stay at his Cambuslang home from 1900 to 0700 BST over an attack on his girlfriend and two police officers.

This will now be removed for 14 days from Wednesday and be reinstated from 2030 to 0700 BST on his return.

The boxer carried out the assaults at his home in May after learning that his uncle had committed suicide.

Harrison, who spent 28 days behind bars for the incident before being released on bail, is due to be sentenced next month.
