UK fuel duty rise delayed again
An increase in fuel duty planned for the start of September has been ruled out by the government.
Junior Treasury Minister John Healey said duty would be frozen as the risk of oil price volatility remains high.
The Treasury will review the situation again in the autumn pre-Budget report, added Mr Healey in a parliamentary written answer.
Fuel duty has remained at 47.1p per litre for the past three years against a backdrop of rising oil prices.
